The latent stage is hidden when the primary and secondary symptoms are gone, and no other symptoms are seen. But, it must remain vigilant because the actual bacteria still remain in the body. This stage can last for years before developing into tertiary syphilis.

  • Tertiary Stadium

Tertiary syphilis can reappear after years of initial infection. This tertiary syphilis can be life threatening! Is Sex Education Important for Your Child?

Image result for anak dan bapak
Is Sex Education Important for Your Child? - Healthy Friend,  discuss sex education with your child, will definitely build an awkward atmosphere. You are among the confused parents when your child starts asking questions about sex from your child.

For some people, talking about sex education is still considered taboo, you know! Though this education is very important for your child, so that later they can be careful with the dangerous treatments they can receive, such as sexual harassment. Well, so it's not awkward when discussing this with your child, let's see the tips! Let's c heck it out!

Parents as teachers

Yep, parents are a major factor in early childhood education. Parents should be close to your child. With this closeness, they will feel comfortable and ask everything that makes him curious.

As a parent, you must be able to answer what he asked. In addition, parents should be the most familiar with the nature of the child. Therefore,  parents are the right teachers to provide sex education at an early age.

Choose a comfortable place

When going to discuss or answer questions from your child about sex, you must choose a comfortable place like home. It is intended that you do not feel disturbed by the crowd around.

In addition, your child can also be free to ask what is on his mind. When explaining, you can also play music so that the atmosphere that is awkward is awkward. Playing an animated video about sex education, is also one of the things you can try! This animation will make it easier for your child to understand.

Use light language

One of the important things when answering your child's question is, answer honestly with mild language. But, you don't have to explain it in detail, because this will make your child confused. For example,  explaining about the organs owned by humans and their functions is enough, you know. Do not forget to insert aspects of religion in explaining it, so that your child knows the limits.

So, from now on parents should be able to explain the importance of sex education, yes! No need to explain it in detail, just explain about the human organ, its function, and the limits that your child should pay attention to. Parental sensitivity to the child, is also very necessary, so they want to tell everything they experienced.

Cervical Cancer is transmitted through the Toilet, Really?

Image result for toilet duduk
Cervical Cancer is transmitted through the Toilet, Really? - cervical cancer or cervical cancer is the number 2 disease most suffered by Indonesian women after breast cancer. Yep, this disease attacks many women at productive age, which is 35-64 years.
At least, there are 15,000 women in Indonesia who are infected with this disease every year. Then is this cancer contagious? How is the transmission? And how to prevent it? Come, see the following article.

The cause,
Cervical cancer is a type of cancer that can be transmitted. Yep, this disease is different from other types, because the cause is a virus. As many as 99% of the causes of disease are viruses, so they can be contagious. The virus in question is the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV).

HPV infection can cause damage to cells on the surface of the cervix and cause cancer. This virus infection does not have a specific mark. Even this virus can stay for dozens of years, until it shows symptoms of cancer. If symptoms have appeared, usually the stage of cancer is advanced and tends to be more difficult to cure.

Transmission of HPV through the toilet

Usually, the virus that causes this disease can be transmitted through sexual contact. Both men and women can be carriers ( carrier ) virus. Although this disease only attacks women.

Cases of HPV transmission through toilet use are very rare. But, that does not mean you can be free to use a dirty toilet, yes! Always keep the toilet clean to reduce transmission of other diseases.

Then what should I do, how to prevent it?

  • Get the HPV vaccine

Usually, this vaccine is given to young women ages 11-12 who have never had sex. This vaccine can be given to women who are already sexually active, but it needs to be ensured that there is no HPV virus developing in their bodies. If you have infected the HPV virus, then this vaccine will be in vain. This vaccine is given several times in stages according to age.

  • Perform routine early detection

There are several methods to detect this disease early . Usually in Indonesia using the method of Pap smear , IVA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) or HPV DNA. You can do these three methods at the nearest laboratory (Pap smear, VIA, HPV DNA) or at the health center (Pap smear, IVA).

IVA has the most affordable price (IDR 10,000-25,000) or sometimes it is even free if done at the Puskesmas. Basically, the early detection method looks at the possibility of irregularities in the cervix. This disease can be easily prevented before it becomes cancerous. If this irregularity is overcome immediately, then someone will be free from this disease.

  • Loyal to one spouse

Transmission of HPV occurs during sexual intercourse, so someone with multiple partners will be more likely to contract HPV. A man who is not loyal, it is possible to transmit HPV to his wife at home, and vice versa.

Well, Healthy Friends, that's some brief description of cervical cancer . So, even though it is caused by a virus, this disease is not transmitted through toilets, yes! Even so, keep doing this disease prevention with HPV vaccine, routinely detect early, and maintain loyalty to partners.

What Must Be Considered Before Having Children?

Image result for bayi
What Must Be Considered Before Having Children? - Hello, Healthy Friend! Having lots of children is said to be a good fortune, although there are those who choose just two children. The decision to have children is entirely in the hands of a married couple (couples). But, it should not be arbitrary also in determining the number of children desired. The more children, the more responsibilities that must be assumed. So many things must be considered carefully before having children.

Husband and wife compromise
Each party certainly has the number of children of their dreams. Maybe you have always dreamed of having many children, but couples only want to have one or a maximum of two. Discussing the desired number of children actually needs to be done before deciding to get married. Because the differences in principles in having children rarely cause disputes between couples. So, you  have to say it heart-to-heart first!

Husband's age and health
If a woman's reproductive age has an "expiration" marked by menopause, then not with men. Men can still continue to produce healthy sperm cells even in old age , as long as they continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, also consider the husband's age and health condition when deciding to have children.

The wife's age and health
Women's ability to reproduce is limited. That is why, the wife's age and health condition greatly influence the decision of the number of children she wants to have. Pregnant at too old or too young has its own risks to the health of the mother and fetus. Women who are pregnant and give birth more than five times are also at risk of health. Also note the age gap between children because distances that are too close or too far are equally risky.

Household financial situation
Besides health factors, there are also other important factors that must be considered, namely the economic condition of the family. In fact, your family's financial condition plays an important role in determining how many children you want to have. Even though money is not everything, it is necessary to have stable finance to ensure the health and well-being of children in the future. Guaranteed stability of family finances is a form of parental responsibility towards children.

Emotional conditions in marital relationships
In addition to physical preparation, emotional conditions also need to be prepared. The presence of children will indeed color domestic life, but also provides additional responsibility.

The decision is in the hands of you and your partner
In the end, choosing to have many children or only a few returned to the decision made together. Healthy friends must be really ready physically and mentally for all possibilities when you have many or few children. Also discuss parenting as to what will be applied to children, so that they grow well, healthy, and as expected.

Well, those are some of the things that Healthy Friends need to consider in having children. No matter how many children you want, raising children needs to be well-prepared in order to build a good generation.
